Here are a few of the projects I’m grateful for working on this year. Thank you to the clients who have entrusted me with their businesses and be a part of their community’s effectiveness. Helping you make a difference is something I am beyond grateful for.

2020 Projects in Review
Midtown Apartment Facade Improvement Contest
Hoffman United has been rehabilitating an up and coming neighborhood in the Erie Community. I helped them bring awareness to the facade renovation of Midtown Apartments on the corner of Peach and W. 26th Street with social media support. This renovation project was in collaboration with Sisters of St. Joseph and ECGRA. Other marketing projects I helped Hoffman United with this year have maximized their marketing spends by increasing web traffic by 218.77% and generated many profitable leads.
Erie Family Center’s Diaper Depot
EFC Diaper Depot is Erie’s only nationally accredited diaper bank for any mom or family in Erie County, regardless of their situation. I worked with EFC to strategize new web pages, create promotional materials for their diaper distribution events, and executed paid and digital ads to spread awareness. Through these efforts, I increased their website traffic by 51%. We’re currently building a 2021 strategic marketing plan to continue community awareness and increase donor funding for continued programming for kids and families throughout Erie County.
White Pine Center For Healing Marketing Scholarship
WPC is Erie’s only facility offering eating disorder education, prevention, and treatment. This year, I created a Marketing Scholarship to help a local organization doing good in our community. I have designed their logo, branded stationery and promotional materials, signages, website, social profiles, presentation materials, promotional pieces, signage, and press release intended to secure publicity and raise awareness for this amazing organization through the scholarship. They now have a solid foundation for strategic marketing efforts for the future thanks to my scholarship valued at over $6,500.
Balancing Holistic Mamas Podcast
I worked with Dr. Elyssa of Body & Balance Chiropractic in Boulder, Colorado, to help her reach new prospects to share wellness techniques, increase telehealth consultations, and engage in speaking opportunities. In an effort to do that, we built and launched the Balancing Holistic Mamas podcast. To date, we have published 21 episodes, blogs & social posts, and increased in-patient counts, obtained national speakers, and increased website traffic by 91.96%.
Business Connector
I have always loved working with and connecting local businesses to each other. This year it was exciting to pair Hoffman United with Dinner Served by Lisa to offer an intimate thank you to Hoffman United’s construction and renovation clients. We curated a post-construction gratitude letter, encouraged reviews and referrals, and included dinner for two to Dinner Served by Lisa.
Monacella Massage Referral Program
The objective was to nurture a niched referral source with a customized package that connects chiropractor patients to massage services to improve patient recovery from motor vehicle accidents. Included in the personalized mailing was a trifecta of a third business connection with candy from Lake Erie Candy Company. Adding their candy gave the doctor’s a sweet treat and showcased confections as an option for corporate gifts. To date, the initiative has generated 4.69% conversion rate of new referrals and 26.56% rate hot leads and connections for future collaborations. Other marketing initiatives I have been consulting on with Monacella Massage is the construction of a new website with Ghost Creative, organizing grant monies for future marketing programs, and outlining a 2021 marketing plan focused on revenue-generating goals for Covid-recovery.
Remote Student Planner Tool
As an Erie Public School District mom, I have met various parents and students and throughout the pandemic, I have been amazed by the highs and lows that parents face while trying to navigate remote learning. The transition to remote education has been difficult for teachers, parents, and students; I have seen it with my own kids. I wanted and needed to do something to help ease families’ frustrations. There was one thing my kids looked forward to each day, lunch. When they were in school, it was a part of their routine; every morning, the lunch menu was included in morning announcements, and there was a set time where they could take a break and socialize with their friends and decompress. With the help of nutritionists, family centers, parents, and students, I created a worksheet to help families create a daily plan for their students. The worksheet helps students’ develop daily schedules, meal plan for lunches, ways to work in exercises to keep posture healthy, a coloring game to ensure proper water intake, and more. The goal was to make the planning process a bit easier for parents and create an experience that resembled a classroom environment. Thank you to the Erie City Moms, Erie Together, Strong Vincent Middle School, Dr. Elyssa Wright, and Erie Family Center for helping distribute the worksheet into the hands of parents in the school district.
A few more…
I wanted to make sure I mention the gratitude I have for working with WeCreate, Northern PA Regional College, VisComm Consulting, Joe Herbert Real Estate, TMG Associates, Water Bear Marketing, Bobbie Borgia, H2O Mobile Pressure Washing, and Career Street.
While this year has been challenging, it has also been rewarding. I am grateful for everyone that I have worked with and look forward to seeing what 2021 has in store for us. If you know of a business that needs the support of an outsourced chief marketing officer, please share my name with them. I’d love to meet them and see how I can help.
Happy Holidays and I hope you have a healthy and prosperous New Year!
